Plans are underway for an Independence Day Parade down Main Street. From Thursday, July 4, to Saturday, July 6, the 11th Street Cowboy Bar and the Bandera County Chamber of Commerce will present the 4th of July 2024 Weekend Celebration.
Launching the three-day event, The Rick Rice Band and The Tailgaters will perform on the stage of the 11th Street Cowboy Bar. Beginning at 8 p.m., on Thursday, July 4, the public is invited to dance under the stars while they wind up for a long weekend of flag-waving fun.
The next day, on Friday, July 5, from 6-10 p.m., head out to the Mansfield Park arena for the Ridin’ on Faith Rodeo. At 10 p.m., boot scoot boogie back to the 11th Street Cowboy Bar for Gary P. Nunn.
On Saturday, July 6, wear your favorite red, white and blue and stake your spot on Main Street, Bandera, for the patriotic parade, which begins at 11 a.m.
“Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, there’s a huge gap,” 11th Street Cowboy Bar co-owner De Foster said. “People enjoy doing things in the summertime.”
