28th annual Pet Parade set for July 4 in Bandera City Park

The 28th annual Pet Parade is set for Thursday, July 4, at the Bandera City Park. Pets of all sizes, breeds and species are invited to attend and dress up in creative costume. From horses to fish, anything that can be lead, ridden or carried is welcome.
Awards will be given for Star Spangled Honors (most patriotic), Best of the Wild West, Look-a-Like, Most Talented Pet, Most Original, and Favorite Storybook Character.
Participation and admission to the park is free, whether you’re there in costume or just want to watch the parade. Registration begins at 9 a.m., judging is at 9:30 a.m. and the parade starts at 10 a.m.
